Project Profile:

Supporting affordable housing development and other real estate projects: In partnership with National LISC’s Affordable Housing Preservation Program, Virginia LISC helped finance the acquisition of 106 units of affordable housing in Williamsburg that were at risk of being converted to market-rate. LISC also provided its first loan to a for-profit minority-owned real estate developer for a mixed-use, mixed-income development in Richmond's Manchester community; and with funding from The Home Depot Foundation, we supported the integration of green development principles into housing development projects in Norfolk and Petersburg.
