LISC 2008 National Staff Meeting
Live Event - October 21 - 23, 2008
Every year, LISC brings together our staff, experts and leaders from around the country to engage in a national dialog concerning the current issues facing community development, as well as to celebrate achievements in the field.
We will explore the issues raised by, and the lessons learned from, our Building Sustainable Communities program, which calls for deepening our community development agenda by expanding our real estate investments and creating opportunities for low-income residents to raise their incomes, build assets and gain access to quality education, health care, jobs, public services and recreational amenities.
Many thanks to our hosts, Philadelphia LISC and the Local Advisory Committee, for their tireless work on the conference, and in revitalizing neighborhoods in the Philadelphia.
