This article describes how a new bill approved by state lawmakers would give Buffalo and other cities with large amounts of vacant housing access to land banks.
The bill, if signed into law, would allow communities like Buffalo to join a countywide land bank, a tool used by other states to revitalize distressed neighborhoods. Michael Clarke of LISC Buffalo is quoted.
